Domestic Airports in Belize
For those who are used to international flights or US airports getting used to the lax rules in Belize may take some getting used to. When you are boarding a plane in San Pedro, Dangriga or the Belize International airport be prepared to get a reusable boarding pass that doesn’t have your name on it.
When it is time to board the plane they just call the color on your boarding pass and you’ll head out onto the tarmac. That does mean that there are no security checks and in most cases also won’t bother to ask for an ID in order to check in.
