The Tower of London is one of the most historical and recognizable landmarks in the world. The fortress is home to incredible sites like the Crown Jewels, the White Tower and Tower Green. For the most gruesome English history and some of the world’s most priceless jewels, a visit to the Tower of London is a must.
The White Tower – inside the White Tower you can presently see armor that was created for and worn by English kings over the past hundreds of years, including the famous silvered armour created for King Henry VIII around 1515 to celebrate his marriage to Katherine of Aragon
The Crown Jewels – there are 23,578 pieces in total making up the English crown jewels. These include the giant Cullinan I and the notorious Koh-i-Noor. At different times some of the jewels may not be in display if they are in use by the royal family.
