There are innumerable options for hotels in Las Vegas so you really need to decide what you’re looking for in a hotel. If you are solely budget conscious the Luxor may be an option, but it is a bit outdated in comparison with some of the other options on the strip, some of which have similarly cheap rates.
The hotel is quite famous for it’s unique pyramid design and is one of the easiest sites to see as you are landing at McCarran Airport at night with its powerful light shooting directly up in to the sky from the top of the structure. The location on the southern portion of the strip is convenient and it is nice to be able to wander to the neighboring hotels such as the MGM. The Luxor is also connected to the Mandalay Bay hotel via Mandalay Place.
The Luxor hotel offers quite a few options for the more laid back visitor including a food court with popular fast-food chains but is also home to TENDER Steak & Seafood where you can get a more upscale dining experience.
The standard Tower Deluxe hotel rooms themselves are non-impressive. Overall, although the price may be right, you might be better off to shop around to find a similar deal at a hotel, that has been remodeled in the more recent past.
