Amalfi is a quaint restaurant located in the heart of Copenhagen with great Italian cuisine. The restaurant’s ambiance and location are ideal, whether for a relaxed brunch or enjoying a nice evening on the outdoor patio in Gråbrødretorv square.
Try the grilled scallops for your starter. Perfectly cooked, with a very light sauce, they are the perfect appetizer to test out at a sea side city.
The range of main courses offers a little of everything, from standard Italian favorites to some more adventurous fares. The rigatoni al tartufo, pasta with a truffle sauce, is highly recommended if you enjoy truffle sauces, as this is a fairly intense sauce.
The restaurant is only about a ten minute walk from the main squares of the city and is situated in a nice, quiet square that offers a perfect ambiance, particularly if you are lucky enough to grab an outdoor table on a warm day. The desert and wine menus are reason enough to stop by and check out the area.
