The Petit Plaza hotel in Malaga is in an ideal location within the older part of town, located on a pedestrian only street. It can be a little tricky to find, but that is part of it’s charm. The hotel may be in a historical area of the city, but once you step inside you would think you were in a modern hotel in any cosmopolitan city.
The decor is quite modern and fairly minimalist. However, the rooms are extremely comfortable, if on the small side. They do offer rooms that sleep 4, including bunk beds. Each room also comes equipped with a laptop with free Wi-Fi access, balconies and a pretty extensive mini-bar selection. The bathrooms are huge, taking up more than their fair share of the room’s square footage, but it’s a nice change from your typical European hotel; everything is very new and clean, making your stay quite comfortable.
While the hotel is on the newer side and the rooms are very adequate, the location is definitely this hotel’s best feature, within walking distance of everything (nothing in Malaga is too far anyway) but this spot allows you to be surrounded by fantastic bars, restaurants and shops for extremely convenience.
With all of this hotel’s benefits, it is still very reasonable, particularly in the off-season:
4 guests, 2 nights – £163.88 ( £20.49 per person per night )
